Jawab:
f(x) = x2 + 2x – 3
g(x) = x + 4
(fog)(x) = (x + 4)2 + 2(x + 4) – 3
= x2 + 8x + 16 + 2x + 8 – 3
(fog)(x) = x2 + 10x + 21
Inversnya:
y = x2 + 10x + 21
y – 21 = x2 + 10x
y – 21 = (x + 5)2 – 25
y – 21 + 25 = (x + 5)2
y – 4 = (x + 5)2
