Swietenia Puspa Lestari is an inspiring environmental activist from Indonesia. She is known for her significant contributions to marine conservation and plastic waste management. Born and raised in Jakarta, Tenia, as she is known, developed a deep connection with the ocean from a young age because she spent much of her childhood exploring Indonesia's rich marine environments.
In 2003, when she was 9 years old, her father assigned as the head of Kepulauan Seribu National Park. Every weekend and school holidays, Tenia visited her father.
