y ≤ -x2 – 5x + 14

Jawab:

y ≤ x2 – 2x – 24

Titik potong sumbu x (y = 0):

x2 – 2x – 24 = 0

(x – 6)(x + 4) = 0

x = 6 atau x = -4

(6, 0)         (-4, 0)

Titik potong sumbu y (x = 0):

y = 02 – 2(0) – 24 = -24

(0, -24) 


y ≤ -x2 – 5x + 14

Titik potong sumbu x (y = 0):

-x2 – 5x + 14 = 0

(-x + 2)(x + 7) = 0

x = 2 atau x = -7

(2, 0)         (-7, 0)

Titik potong sumbu y (x = 0):

y = -02 – 5(0) + 14 = 14

(0, 14)
