Diketahui f(x) = x2 + 4x – 5 dan g(x) = 2x – 1, hasil fungsi komposisi (gof) (3) adalah ….

Pembahasan:

f(x) = x2 + 4x – 5 

g(x) = 2x – 1

(gof) (3) = …. ?

    f(3) = 32 + 4 . 3 – 5 

           = 9 + 12 – 5

    f(3) = 16

    (gof) (3) = g(f(3))

                  = g(16)

                  = 2 . 16 – 1

                  = 32 – 1

    (gof) (3) =  31
